Human Resources Director
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to enhance and maintain the Human Resources infrastructure, including strategies, operations, policies, and procedures for our regional offices. Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on employee relations matters, including promotions, disciplinary actions, terminations, performance management, and merit/market adjustments.
- Address employee concerns or issues promptly, conducting investigations as needed and offering recommendations for resolution.
Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including crafting job descriptions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending employment offers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure successful onboarding of new hires.
Benefits Management
- Oversee and administer employee health, welfare, and retirement plans.
- Manage monthly billing and ensure payment for benefit group plans.
- Lead the benefit plan renewal process and manage leave of absence programs, including Short- and Long-Term Disability, Parental Leave, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation.
General Management
- Travel to regional offices as needed to provide HR support, address issues, and conduct training.
- Manage HRIS data verification, reconciliation, and maintenance of employee profiles.
- Oversee processes for hires, terminations, salary changes, and personnel changes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and align HR policies accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in Employee Relations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Proven experience maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage complex relationships effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS tools (familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus).
- Previous experience in the property management industry with multiple site locations is preferred.
