Qualifications

• Nursing home clerical experience

• Proficient in Office applications, good with computer programs

• Prior experience as HR/Scheduler/Staffing Coordinator in nursing home setting preferred

• Peoples' person - team builder - someone who puts the "human" into Human Resources

Responsibilities

Be the face of the company at the facility level for all staff, from pre-hire to retire. A true Director of Human Resources (HR) would encounter these tasks on a daily basis:

• Responsible for job postings, reaching out to applicants consistently and timely to ensure success in hiring

• Vetting and onboarding potential hires

• Responsible for all employee paperwork and entering employee information into the HR portal

• Benefits coordinator

• Main resource for company policy as it relates to employment

• Review timecards and make final edits prior to payroll deadlines

• Work with scheduler to ensure accuracy

• Assist department heads with disciplinary process
