Flagstop Car Wash is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead and manage HR operations for our growing car wash company. The Director of HR will oversee recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and HR strategy to support our mission of creating a positive workplace culture.

Flagstop Car Wash is Richmond's largest and fastest-growing car care business. With 250+ employees and 21 locations (and counting) across the region, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to hone their skills in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
Compensation Package:
- This is a salary exempt position
- Annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000
- Opportunity for discretionary bonus up to 20% of salary

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Supervise internal recruitment staff.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for all sites (21+ locations).
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are set up for success.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Lead investigations into employee issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Training and Development
- Design and implement training programs to support employee growth and development.
- Ensure all employees, including managers, are trained on company policies, compliance, and safety procedures.
- Identify and address skill gaps to enhance team performance.
- Policy and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage workers' compensation, disability, FMLA, and OSHA processes, claims, and reporting.
- Regularly review and update company policies and the employee handbook.
- Manage employee performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- HR Strategy and Analytics
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Lead initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Benefits and Payroll
- Oversee benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee inquiries.
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate processing of compensation and benefits.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the overall employee benefits package.
- HR Technology
- Oversee the management and implementation of the organization's HRIS technology.
- Leverage technology to improve employee experience, streamline processes, and ensure compliance throughout the employee life cycle.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required--preferably in Human Resources or related field
- At least 5 years' HR Management experience required
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred
- HR experience in multi-unit, high volume retail operations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency managing and utilizing HRIS technology preferred
Work Environment & Requirements:
- This position is on-site in an office environment.
- This position requires regular travel to Flagstop Car Wash locations; therefore, candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive themselves as needed.
- This position is primarily a sedentary office role, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and communicate effectively.
- The ability to walk, lift up to 20 lbs, and stand for long periods of time is occasionally required.
