Based in Mountain View, CA., NeuroPace is a commercial-stage medical device company focused on transforming the lives of people suffering from epilepsy by reducing or eliminating the occurrence of debilitating seizures. We are currently seeking a Director of HCP Marketing to join our team. This individual will be responsible for planning and executing high impact product launches, clinical data roll-outs, and influential growth campaigns. You will be an expert in planning digital, social marketing aimed at the HCP audience. You will perform market segmentation, targeting, product positioning, key messaging, and pricing to maximize growth and profitability for the RNS and Dixi products. You will build strong relationships with the sales organization, gathering feedback as you create marketing pieces to optimize effectiveness. In this position, you must be able to communicate cross functionally and on a regular basis with clinical, QA/RA, Sales, Customers and Senior Leadership. In addition, you will develop and maintain partnerships with key customers and Key Opinion Leaders. This position will be hybrid and needed to be in the NeuroPace Mountain View office two days a week.
What you will do:
- Drive all marketing deliverables including business plans, pricing, positioning, promotional strategies, collateral, and life cycle plans
- Lead clinical data strategies through ideation, into launch and execution to maximize product/portfolio growth and profitability
- Develop digital, social media strategy & execution for reaching the HCP audience.
- Formulate new downstream promotional strategies to drive and accelerate growth
- Manage project budgets and quickly analyze data to determine ROI on marketing programs and modify programs accordingly
- Develop comprehensive sales and physician training plans in collaboration with Professional Education.
- Routinely communicate with the sales force regarding programs, product updates competitive activity, sales positioning, best practices.
- Engage and actively maintain close collaboration with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to maximize their participation in launch & corporate activities.
- Lead tradeshow activities for product and support in person where required.
- Collaborate with upstream marketing, training and education, and clinical research counterparts to translate activities into marketplace success.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in marketing, business, biological/clinical science, or engineering, MBA a strong plus, with a minimum of eight (8) years of medical device/medical products marketing experience. Medical device sales experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must have a good understanding of the medical environment to effectively respond to market concerns and provide technical support for products
- Able to convert product/customer feedback into valuable insights that can help drive the development of new marketing programs
- Ability to competently represent the Company at professional functions and customer meetings
- Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills
- Proficient software skills across all standard programs; Salesforce.com experience a plus
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
- A healthy disdain for the status quo, and a willingness to question existing practices to identify better alternatives
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary

Base Compensation Range: $200K-$225K
