The Director of FP&A Solutions will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of the FP&A solutions area. This includes overseeing implementations, such as Planful and Vena for our external clients. This role involves business development, client relationship management, solution implementation, and delivery of high-quality financial planning and analysis services. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in FP&A with experience in such products as Planful, Vena and other related solutions, strong leadership and team management experience, and client-facing skills and to support the growth and success of both our clients and our organization.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Oversee the delivery of high-quality FP&A services to clients, leveraging Planful and Vena to optimize financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Support the business development efforts to identify and secure new client engagements focused on Planful and Vena solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions that drive their financial success.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes for clients, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the implementation of Planful and Vena solutions for external clients, ensuring appropriate solution design, seamless integration and successful deployment.
• Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective client service and professional development.
• Collaborate with the IT department and clients to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Planful and Vena solutions.
• Monitor and manage key financial metrics and KPIs for clients, providing regular updates and recommendations.
• Optimize and enhance the deployed platform to maximize usage, value and ensure license renewal.
• Represent the firm at conferences and deliver online and in-person seminars and speaking engagements.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and/or Close Management
• Extensive expertise in Planful and/or Vena solutions, including implementation and optimization.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience in managing FP&A processes for external clients.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent professional level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and across all organizational levels.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards and practices.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to travel - up to 25% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field
• 6 years of supervisory experience
• Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $150,000 - $200,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
