Overview:
One of Vaco’s PE-backed clients is looking for a Corporate Director of Finance - in the past few years the company has doubled in size leading to big opportunities to leave a footprint, strategize, and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics to drive the company’s strategic goals.
- Implement financial policies and processes that support operational growth and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with senior executives to shape the company’s strategy and align financial decisions with market conditions.
- Manage the creation of forecasts and analyze financial performance to identify and address risks and opportunities.
- Lead and support a financial analyst, fostering their development and enhancing their performance.
- Oversee corporate planning, conduct profitability assessments, and monitor expenses to maintain financial health.
- Monitor key business indicators, evaluate market trends, and provide insights for improvement.
- Lead the annual business planning cycle, including forecasting and presenting key findings to leadership.
- Ensure financial compliance and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, focusing on financial due diligence and integration.
- Collaborate with teams across geographies to ensure financial alignment and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of progressive FP&A experience, including leadership roles in financial management.
- Experience supervising teams and mentoring staff is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power Query; familiarity with Power BI and Python is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, P&L management, and business performance evaluation.
