Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Director of Food and Beverage to lead and elevate the dining experience at a premier downtown Tampa hotel. This role is integral to enhancing our reputation for exceptional service and outstanding dining options, situated along the picturesque Tampa Riverwalk. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of innovative leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for culinary perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation of all food and beverage units within the hotel to ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service and compliance with all food and beverage regulations.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the profitability and efficiency of F&B operations, including cost control, resource allocation, and innovative menu development.
Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to create compelling and seasonally appropriate menus that align with the hotel’s brand and guest expectations.
Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure all team members are proficient in best practices and service standards.
Maintain a strong presence during key hotel events and operational hours to ensure seamless execution of services.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for all F&B outlets to achieve fiscal objectives.
Liaise with marketing and sales teams to promote F&B offerings, both internally to guests and in broader promotional efforts.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout all F&B operations.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and motivating work environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in food and beverage operations within a high-volume, upscale hotel or resort environment.
Proven track record of financial management and creating operational efficiencies.
Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on staff development and team building.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to navigate a diverse work environment and guest base.
In-depth knowledge of the latest industry trends and a clear understanding of all regulatory and compliance requirements.
