About the Job
Manage the Bank’s annual budgeting process to generate and maintain budget and various pro forma financial statements, incorporating strategic plan and initiatives as needed.Manage and maintain documentation as it relates to business assumptions for budget and projectionsOwn processes to monitor progress against goals, budget, and scorecards to ensure a clear understanding of factors influencing the bank’s financial position and key metrics, including reporting of variance analyses and creation of board and executive level presentations in a timely and accurate mannerHelp build, enhance, and maintain FP&A related systems and databasesDrive implementation of new processes and technology, and partner closely with cross functional teams across the organizationTake on a wide variety of analytical and planning tasks as required to help enhance overall bank performancePrepare presentation decks for CFO, executives, and board in an articulate and concise mannerManage and develop junior members of the team, including participating in new hires for the teamComply with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act-Anti Money Laundering, OFAC, US Patriot Act, Privacy Act and Community Reinvestment Act.Job Qualifications/RequirementsMinimum Education Level: Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Applied Math, Computer Science, or other related fieldsMinimum Years of Experience: 5Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: NoEnglish: Written: Advanced Verbal: AdvancedMicrosoft Outlook: AdvancedMicrosoft Word: AdvancedMicrosoft Excel: AdvancedMicrosoft PowerPoint: AdvancedRequired: Good written and oral communication skillsPreferred: Experience working with and maintaining FP&A systems within a financial institutionPreferred: Experience with developing financial reports in the Banking or Finance industryRequired: Strong ability to problem solveRequired: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions conciselyRequired: Ability to adopt changes, understand other's priority, and accommodateRequired: Previous experience working with team settingsRequired: Know when to apply own discretion in prioritizing various tasks and sensitive about sharing informationThe salary range for this full-time position is $150,000.00 - $230,000.00 + bonus + benefitsSalary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location.Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.Bank of Hope is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, genetic information, national or ethnic origin, disability, marital status, veteran status or any other basis protected by federal, state, or local law.Job SummaryRequisition Number: DIREC006423Job Category: AccountingSchedule: Full-Time
