Our client, a reputable construction company, is seeking an experienced Director of Financial Operations to lead and oversee the financial strategy and operations for their construction projects. In this role, you’ll act as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial insights, managing budgets, and driving cost efficiencies to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Director of Finance Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3-5 years in the construction industry highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and construction accounting principles = a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction ERP systems (e.g., Procore, Sage 300 CRE) and advanced Excel skills.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Director of Finance Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and project goals.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance across multiple construction projects to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and executives to ensure alignment of financial and operational strategies.
- Manage job costing, WIP (Work in Progress) schedules, and project-specific financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
