Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Finance with a specialization in tax strategy to support its real estate investment portfolio. This role will drive tax efficiency across acquisitions, management, and divestitures of properties, ensuring both strategic planning and regulatory compliance. Located in Brooklyn, daily in office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tax compliance, reporting, and strategic planning.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for complex real estate transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize tax outcomes across diverse real estate projects.
• Manage and oversee audits, and engage with external advisors to stay updated on tax laws and regulations impacting real estate.

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in tax within real estate finance.
• Experience in a small family office is a plus.
• CPA or equivalent qualifications with extensive real estate finance experience.
• Proven track record in tax planning, audit management, and regulatory compliance in a high-growth environment.
