RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify strategic acquisition opportunities that align with company growth objectives.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of potential acquisition targets and collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to structure and close deals.
- Prepare and present deal rationales, financial analyses, and regular updates to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation and review of RFPs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data and projections are accurately reflected.
- Lead the creation of the companys long-term financial plan, forecast, and resource allocation strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and value creation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical financial metrics and design data visualizations that effectively communicate insights, trends, and the impact of strategic decisions.
- Provide in-depth cost analysis and actionable recommendations to enhance process efficiency and optimize spending.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions, overseeing loan covenants, compliance, and negotiations related to credit facilities and financing.
- Lead regular M&A meetings to facilitate cross-functional coordination, ensuring all departments involved are aligned and informed throughout the process.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive decision-making during all stages of transactions, helping teams resolve challenges and ensuring timely execution.
- Oversee the accounting integration process, including defining scope, tracking progress across functions, and addressing any challenges that arise.
- Support ad-hoc finance and accounting initiatives as needed.
- Work with stakeholders to refine and optimize pricing strategies.
- Lead initiatives to implement automation solutions for financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis, improving workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting timelines.
- Manage the entire M&A process, from target identification and financial modeling to due diligence, negotiations, and post-deal integration.
- Assess financial due diligence findings to identify key accounting risks and ensure targets comply with U.S. GAAP.
- Partner with internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive integration plans that maximize value, achieve synergies, and ensure smooth transitions.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development or private equity.
- Highly proficient in financial modeling, forecasting and analysis.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to stakeholders.
- Understanding of logistics, supply chain, manufacturing (food and beverage industry).
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production concepts and their applications.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
