LHH is seeking a Finance Director to oversee and manage our client's organization's financial operations. This senior leadership role is crucial for developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring financial stability, and supporting business growth. The Finance Director will have a clear path to evolve into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position, with responsibilities expanding over time to include strategic financial leadership and organizational oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Lead the development of the annual budget, collaborating with department heads to set financial goals and objectives.
- Develop long-term financial strategies that ensure sustainability, efficient resource utilization, and growth.
- Ensure the finance team has the tools, resources, and training to meet organizational goals and deliver accurate financial results.
- Assist in recruiting and developing finance staff as the department grows.
- Take on additional strategic responsibilities as the organization evolves, preparing for the transition into the CFO role.
- Participate in long-term planning and work closely with leadership to shape the financial direction of the organization.
- Take on more senior responsibilities, such as investor relations, capital raising, and corporate governance, as part of the path to becoming CFO.
- Utilize healthcare management software to manage financial operations and reporting.
- Ensure seamless integration of financial data into reporting systems to improve decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- MBA, CPA, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Experience with Meditech or similar healthcare management software is required, including financial reporting, data integration, and system optimization within a healthcare setting.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record in financial management.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with senior leadership.
