As a Director of Finance, you will play a crucial role in our company’s financial operations. This role is a unique blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, offering the chance to drive our financial strategy while ensuring our day-to-day financial health. You will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, funding, treasury management, and financial reporting. You will use your skills in PowerBI/Tableau, SQL, and financial modeling to analyze and present financial data in a meaningful way. This is a high-impact role, and we’re looking for someone with a strong track record in finance and a passion for driving results.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's budgeting, financial forecasting, and capital raising efforts.
- Manage treasury function, including cash flow planning, investment management, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand and support strategic business decisions using financial data.
- Use PowerBI/Tableau and SQL to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
- Provide leadership and support to finance team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
- Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- CFA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in PowerBI/Tableau, SQL, and financial modeling tools.
- Exceptional knowledge of financial data analysis and forecasting.
- Profound understanding of treasury management and funding strategies.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated strategic planning and business development experience.
- Ability to strategize and solve problems.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
