About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
KPI reporting process:
o Improve and Automate the KPI reporting process ensuring digital transformation of manual processes
o Review KPI data prepared by finance team, thoroughly and consistently check all files to ensure accuracy
o Oversee intra-month entry, control, governance and tracking of KPI data
o Develop and implement process for obtaining and start tracking KPI data not available currently
o Organize and improve presentation / formatting of historical KPI files
o Support the creation and validation of a glossary of reporting terms, KPI definitions, and business rules/logic to convert raw data from systems into KPIs.
o Transition Excel reporting into Power BI
o Oversee testing and validation of data warehouse / Power BI reports / dashboards to ensure accuracy of historical data through monthly KPI audits
o Produce ad hoc reporting needs out of Power BI, and when required directly from the Snowflake-based data warehouse
o Manage the Power BI dashboards, adding metrics/views as required by the business by liaising with IT including data engineers and Power BI developers
o Ensure overall data integrity and accuracy in all KPI reporting and analytical processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred, CPA preferred
- 5-10 years of work experience; strong preference for most recent role having been in a reporting-related finance function at a public company, or in audit.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting and/or audit required
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, MS Excel, MS Office ; in-depth financial modeling skill-set; familiarity with SQL is preferred
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and services (Snowflake)
- Proven ability to document business logic / rules for a technology transformation
- Ability to explain and visualize complex information and dense datasets in a business-friendly manner
- Experience in franchising preferred; ideally in multi-unit consumer / retail / food & beverage industry

- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with an ability to deliver results quickly in this hands-on position

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
