- Oversee the monthly closings of company general ledgers and ensure accurate balance sheet account balances through monthly reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and the leadership team to ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
- Recognize patterns in company revenues and expenses, recommend solutions to problem areas, and update and implement accounting policies and practices as required.
- Participate in the annual budgeting and planning process, providing support to operations leadership and preparing analysis to identify anomalies and budget impacts.
- Provide advice and guidance to the executive team and other leadership members regarding spending and budget questions.
- Understand the company's overall credit facility with banking partners and prepare monthly borrowing base certificates.
- Perform other accounting research requests and reconcile any variances or problems as needed.
- Hire, oversee, coach, and mentor leaders in the finance and accounting departments, providing development and support as needed.
- Directly supervise a team of non-supervisory and supervisory employees in the accounting, credit, and inventory & process control departments.
- Bachelor's degree and four to six years of related experience and/or training in finance or accounting roles within a dynamic environment.
- Strong financial systems and Excel skills; experience with ERP software preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation range: $90,000-110,000. This salary range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, and other relevant business considerations.
