What You Will Be Doing
The Director of Finance reports to the Divisional CFO and leads in the Finance Team with responsibility for budget and financial operations of the Department. As the Director of Finance, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams measuring and driving financial success contributing to the growth of the organization. Main duties include hands-on financial planning and analysis, building and improving reporting and mentoring team analysts to deliver actionable improvements. The Director will contribute to monthly financial and accounting operations delivering tools and process improvements to help us grow profitability, maintain integrity and timeliness of all reporting, manage cash flow and controlling risk by enhancing visibility to projected issues.

Essential Job Functions
Financial Reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting and budget regulations, and audit principles.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
- Present financial reports with narratives highlighting the monthly actual results along with Risks and Opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement budgets, forecasts, and long range plans.
- Develop and direct revenue and expense analysis, including in-depth financial, operational trends and KPIs.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support decision making.
- Stay informed about the industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the business.
- Work closely with Divisional CFO to align financial goals and objectives.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash position and maximize profitability.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional coaching and development opportunities.
- Lead process improvement and quality assurance measures.
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Clearly present complex information to various groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar financial leadership role.
- Experience in public accounting company, construction or manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and financial planning.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong Financial Analysis skills, with excellent skills in Excel and BI tools.
- Ability to innovate and a has a strong track record of taking initiative.
- Experience as a team leader and excels at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Vista Viewpoint experience preferred but not required.

- This is an onsite position based in Carrollton, TX with the flexibility to work from home one day a week.
