About the Job
Vaco is working with a growing company that is searching for a Director of Finance. The position will report into the CFO and manage the accounting team including the Controller. We are searching for a strategic, operational, and accounting savvy candidate ready to take the next step in their career.
The position is hybrid in nature and will be in the office 2 days per week. Candidates must live in the NJ/PA region in the Philly suburbs.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Lead corporate financial close process
- Produce FPA monthly reports for CEO and CFO
- Strong Budgeting Forecasting and Variance Analysis experience
- Strong GAAP and technical accounting skill-sets.
- Spearhead annual audit with outside audit firm
- Strategic projections and process improvements
- Mentor Accounting and Finance team
- Ad hoc quarterly projects and reports.
- Public/Private Accounting background with CPA, CMA or MBA a preferred.
- Several years of reporting, profit/loss ratios, and written analysis to stakeholders
- 4 year degree in Accounting
- Experience in Manufacturing, Distribution or Consumer Products preferred
- Strong system ERP skills along with excel and Power BI experience

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
