Are you our Facilities Manager?
We’re seeking a Facilities Manager to support our restaurant operations team in maintaining and enhancing the quality of Boqueria’s spaces. This role involves leading all facilities management activities across our restaurants, including providing expert guidance on repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital expenditures (CapEx). The Facilities Manager will also oversee special projects to ensure efficient operations and upholding of Boqueria’s high standards. This role includes delivering financial oversight and cost-effective solutions to maintain our brand’s commitment to quality and excellence.
You’ll thrive in this position if you have:
Project Management Skills: The ability to manage repair and maintenance programs and costs, preventative maintenance schedules, CapEx projects, and special projects.
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of all restaurant building and equipment systems, including refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Quality Management Abilities: The ability to plan, organize, implement, and monitor tasks in a way that meets Boqueria’s expectations, objectives, and standards.
Responsibilities:
Here’s the kind of work you’ll get to do:
Ensure all company restaurants live up to the brand promise while meeting all health and safety standards
Conduct routine site-assessment inspections of buildings and equipment
Create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
Source and manage vendor partners and generate a network of contractor partnerships
Ownership of all restaurant repair and maintenance needs
Oversight and approval of work orders submitted by restaurants
Ensure vendor performance and maintain budgets
Develop and manage projects and budgets for CapEx projects
Provide project management for projects, remodels, rollouts, and any other initiatives
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of relevant experience in restaurant facilities management
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Proven experience in managing repair vendors, preventative maintenance programs and CapEx projects
Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (written & verbal)
Pays close attention to details
Design sensibility aligned with Boqueria’s aesthetics
Able to prioritize duties & tasks with a sense of urgency
Deadline oriented and completes tasks, assignments or projects in a timely manner
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or industry-related degree (Construction, Architecture, or Engineering)
