Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Director of Facilities & Maintenance to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our facilities and maintenance operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and fully operational at all times. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance and facilities management plans that ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency of all buildings and equipment.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities and maintenance teams, including planning and scheduling work, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality work and cost-effective solutions.
Manage the budget for facilities and maintenance, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and that resources are allocated effectively.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to facilities and maintenance, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Ensure that all facilities are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced on a regular basis.
Provide leadership and guidance to the facilities and maintenance teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities and maintenance management, with a proven track record of success.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including OSHA standards.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software.
