Position Overview
The Director of Engineering is responsible for leading the engineering team in the design, development, and testing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) for electronic products. This role involves overseeing engineering processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing practices to meet industry standards and customer requirements. We are in growth mode as we branch into new industries. We primarily manufacture for OEM's currently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver high-quality PCBA designs and solutions.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices for Electronics manufacturing.
• Oversee the product development life cycle from concept through to production.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC-610, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to optimize product performance.
• Conduct testing and validation of electronic products to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in electronics engineering with a focus on PCBA.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of IPC-610, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
• Experience in testing and test engineering for electronic products.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and product development life cycles.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
