Director of Engineering at Davron LLC

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Engineering to join our team in Bloomington, MN. This position offers the opportunity to oversee a team of 12 engineers, manage complex projects, and drive the development of cutting-edge products. With a focus on HVAC and coolant systems, your expertise will help us maintain our position as industry frontrunners while ensuring high-quality standards and efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Engineering position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Embedded Software Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with budgets, both departmental and project-related.
• Stage/Phase Gate Process experience highly preferred.
• HVAC and/or coolant experience is a big plus.
• Excellent organizational fit, demonstrating the right attitude alongside technical skills.
• Managing a team of 12 engineers, involving direct work on designs and mentoring.
• Checking and assisting with engineering designs, answering team questions.
• Regular meetings with owners and collaboration with the sales team.
• Managing projects and ensuring effective communication across departments.
• Bringing behind-schedule projects back on track without compromising quality.
• Working a schedule of 4-10s, off on Fridays, with 10-hour days between 6 am-6 pm.

Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
