Director of Engineering at Lumicity

Experience

• 10+ years in the space industry (startup experience preferred).
• 3+ years in senior management with team-building experience.
• Expertise in clean sheet design for advanced systems.

Education

• BS in EE, CS, or Aerospace Engineering.

Technical Skills

• Space applications and mission-critical systems (radiation-tolerant, multi-redundant).
• Proficient in PCB designAltiumNX CAD, and hardware development.
• Embedded programming in C, C++, and Rust

Testing & Validation

• Experience with EMCradiation testing, and environmental test equipment (thermal/vibration/TVAC).

Leadership

• Manage 3 direct reports, scaling to 10+ team members
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
