With a dynamic company culture and a track record of growth, they’re seeking a dedicated Director of Ecommerce - Amazon to lead their Amazon channel to the next level.
Position Overview
The Director of Ecommerce - Amazon will lead the development and execution of Amazon strategies to drive revenue and optimize brand visibility. This role is best suited for a results-oriented leader with deep experience in Amazon Vendor Central and a solid understanding of what it takes to manage and grow large-scale Amazon sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to increase product visibility and ranking on Amazon, enhancing revenue and market reach.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a dedicated ecommerce team, providing guidance, support, and direction to achieve sales goals.
- Vendor Central Management: Oversee a significant Amazon Vendor Central account with $20M+ in sales, ensuring efficient operations and high performance.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze metrics to assess sales trends, consumer behavior, and product positioning, optimizing efforts for continued growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to support product launches, promotions, and ensure seamless fulfillment.
Key Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon: Proven track record managing and scaling Amazon sales, including expertise with Amazon Vendor Central and visibility-boosting strategies.
- Revenue Management: Experience driving at least $20M in sales through Amazon, with a strong understanding of sales optimization techniques.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success managing and developing a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Onsite Requirement: Willingness to work in the NYC office five days a week for optimal collaboration and oversight.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
