Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field is required; master’s degree preferred.

A minimum of eight years of progressive development and fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting to include prospect research and donor management with a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.  Strong experience in gift fundraising and major gift cultivation and stewardship.

Experience with successful donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship required.

Experience cultivating and stewarding successful foundational giving portfolios required.

Preferred Skills

Strong skills in strategic planning, coordination, and execution including the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Experienced in managing donor data utilizing Raiser’s Edge or another CRM

Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills.

Excellent computer skills including knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.

Positive attitude and customer oriented.

Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen internal and external partnerships to achieve goals and objectives.
