Director of Development - $45-$51/hr - Washington, DC at Beacon Hill

Our client, a charter school, is seeking a temporary to permanent Director of Development to join their team!

The Job:

• Lead the development of grant strategies that are aligned with funding needs.

• Draft grant proposals, inquiry letters, project concepts, and reports.

• Coordinate prospecting, review opportunities, and develop briefs.

• Break the fundraising plan into actionable workstreams and tasks.

• Handle all administrative aspects of grant writing, fundraising, and documentation.

About You:

• A bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant development experience are required.

• Experience with fundraising software and CRMs is highly preferred.

• Experience in a K12 sector is desired.

• Creative problem-solver with technological savviness.

• Strong proposal, research, and reporting skills.

About the Position:

• $45/hr-$51/hr, while temporary.

• $100k-$125k, when permanent.

• 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
