Director of Corporate Development and M&A - Hueman PE Talent Solutions

Super Home Services is hiring a Director for Corporate Development and M&A as a full-time job in Orlando, FL, Miramar, FL, or Raleigh, NC.
 
As a Director of Corporate Development/M&A, you will be responsible for all M&A activities including business development, financial analysis, negotiation, due diligence, transaction execution and closing mechanics. This position reports to the CEO/CFO and will have the responsibility to report timely and accurate information to the board of directors, banks, and other stakeholders. As a key member of the company's management team, this position has strong growth potential as they are looking to rapidly grow organically and through acquisition.
 
Super Home Services is a concierge-level provider of interior and exterior residential services throughout the Southeastern US. Super Home Services aims to be a one-stop provider for all aspects of home services; from lawn care to pest control to HVAC to plumbing and more.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Sales and Marketing to establish strategic priorities for new acquisitions 

• Monitor performance of acquisitions versus expectations by maintaining a reporting system for financial metrics and KPIs

• Develop and maintain a knowledge of industry trends in M&A and key transaction data points

• Identify and interact with new deal sources and lead internal efforts to source new acquisition opportunities

• Lead negotiation processes, due diligence workstreams, and third-party advisors supporting other diligence workstreams. 

Job Qualifications:  

• Experience working in M&A and Corporate Development (investment banking, PE, M&A advisory, etc.)

• Experience working with lower middle market businesses (often founder owned/operated)

• Strong grasp of fundamental analysis of company financials, including modeling, and growth prospects

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to the full spectrum of stakeholders
