Director of Corporate Accounting at KBW Financial

KBW has partnered with a successful manufacturer in their search for a Director of Accounting. They have experienced rapid growth in recent years and are looking for an addition to the team. This is a very technical role and will need a strong understanding of GAAP and how it is applied. Responsibilities for the Director of Accounting include:

• Manage corporate accounting team
• Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and forecast with related management reporting and dashboards
• Prepare equity compensation accounting and stock vesting
• Review SEC filings
• Assist with the quarterly close and consolidation
• Assist with corporate transactions and integration
• Write and review technical accounting memoranda
• Provide technical accounting advice to stakeholders
• Assist with and update corporate accounting procedures
• Provide executive level presentations and analysis
• Devise and implement process improvements

Requirements for the Director of Accounting include:

• Currently licensed CPA
• Experience with a top tier public accounting firm
• More than fifteen years accounting experience
• Recent public company experience
• Very strong understanding of GAAP

Compensation: to $170,000 plus bonus and benefits
