HMR Veterans Services, Inc. (dba Texas VSI, LLC) is seeking a dedicated Reginal Clinical Operations Director to assist with clinical needs and improve quality results by auditing, evaluating, implementing change, and assisting with the re-design of processes when necessary.
Work Schedule
Full-Time
50% travel as assigned in the State of Texas
Texas Locations Include:
Amarillo, TX
El Paso, TX
Fort Worth, TX
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse within the state of Texas.
At least one (1) year of multi-site experience in a Long-term Care or Post Accute Care capacity.
Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing in addition to medical practices and procedures.
Requires formal knowledge of laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
Requires basic knowledge of resident assessment, minimum data set (MDS), and the care plan process.
Responsibilities
Provide expert advice on patient care, medical documentation, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Assist with implementing processes to monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided at the facilities.
Assist facilities with interviewing clinical/nursing candidates if requested.
Responsible for coordinating clinical and or nursing committees (to include Peer Review) as needed.
Responsible for all specialized clinical training programs and protocols.
Provide facilities with updated information regarding the survey process. Encourage networking among the facilities.
Maintain effective relationships with Directors of Nursing and Administrators through periodic meetings and facility visits.
Assist the Director of Nursing with coordinating/planning new employee orientations and meetings throughout the year.
Adhere to uniform policy according to the Company’s policies and Employee Handbook.
Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information to ensure residents’ rights are protected.
Attend meetings and participate in educational classes and on-the-job training programs, etc., as scheduled or directed.
Perform other related assignments as required.
