Virtus Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with an acute care community hospital in Palatka, FL, to identify a skilled and dedicated Director of Cardiac Cath Lab to join their leadership team. This 99-bed facility boasts two state-of-the-art cath lab suites and provides exceptional cardiac care to the local community.

As the Director of Cardiac Cath Lab, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of 7 skilled professionals (4 RNs and 3 Cath Lab Techs) while ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The position requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record in managing Cath Lab/EP teams in an acute hospital setting.

Position Highlights

• Team Leadership: Provide strong guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
• Operations Oversight: Manage daily operations of the Cath Lab, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Clinical Excellence: Oversee a highly skilled team that performs critical cardiac procedures, with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and other leadership teams to align departmental goals with hospital-wide objectives.
• On-Call Rotation: Support staff in managing on-call schedules to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification as an RN, APRN, RCIS, or State-Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT).
• 2-3 years of recent Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager experience in a Cath/EP Lab within an acute hospital setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage workflows, and maintain high-quality clinical standards.
