The US Manufacturing Sales Vertical who partners and supports with some of the world's largest Manufacturing is hiring a the Director of Business Management for US Manufacturing Sales Vertical to serve as the trusted partner to the VP (Vice President) and their leadership team.
This role is a highly collaborative and visible position that requires extensive cross group coordination at all levels and the ability to manage high volume, high impact work. This individual will lead a predictable well-run Rhythm of the Business (RoB), and partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Manufacturing VP to manage the strategy and operational execution of this $5Billion organization that spans all cities across the US. This individual will shape and improve our business operations.

**Responsibilities**
As Director of Business Management for US Manufacturing Sales you will lead key processes, procedures, and communications plans that facilitate business planning and execution. You will drive operational excellence via a diverse charter that includes leading a predictable Rhythm of the Business (RoB) for the organization, communications, team connectedness, and management processes. You will provide insight and advice to the leadership team around operational excellence, organizational health, headcount, fiscal planning and participate in overall group strategy decisions.
You will also lead a team that drives organizational health initiatives, supports the VP of US Manufactuing's executive engagements with customers, coordinates external communications, and runs the administration of the operating unit. This position requires experienced strategic thinking, extensive cross-group and cross-boundary coordination at all levels, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to build compelling internal presentations. A high degree of maturity and executive presence will be expected.
**Business Operations**
+ You will architect, develop, and carry out the rhythm of business (RoB), while also driving business strategy initiatives. You'll also execute business plans to ensure continuous operations in both normal and adverse conditions.
+ You will partner with organizational leadership to lead strategy execution, while overseeing alignment across groups. You'll also leverage deep organizational strategy knowledge to design upcoming budgets.
+ You will provide leadership support by ensuring business activities are aligned with their goals. This will involve leading multiple workstreams, leveraging key partnerships to drive leadership agenda, serving in the absence of the leader as needed.
+ You will drive team culture by getting a pulse on organizational health and leading cultural initiatives.
+ You will drive cross-team projects as needed to meet changing business requirements and manage complex business needs. You'll also lead project management to ensure organization-wide implementation of strategic efforts.

**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
+ OR Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 7+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 5 + years people management experience.
+ Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.??Experience writing for and communicating with executives. Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications.
+ A high degree of professional maturity is essential, to include demonstration of reliability, responsibility, and respect of others. Willingness to continually raise the bar on one's own impact and performance.
+ Proven ability to respectfully influence, motivate, negotiate, collaborate, and partner with multiple stakeholders across all levels of authority and leadership.
+ Ability to excel in a fast paced, highly matrixed, ambiguous business environment.
+ Proven track record for?identifying?risks?and implementing?mitigations successfully.
+ Experience as a Business Manager or Program Manager within a software engineering organization.
Business Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.
