In this role, we value a broad spectrum of experience across the AEC industries or in professional services, as well as expertise in business, marketing, and business development.
Primary duties include:
- Finding and developing new markets and opportunities
- Promoting the firm’s mission locally, regionally, and internationally
- Building and maintaining links with strategic partners
- Establishing productive relationships with public and private organizations
- Generating ideas, establishing strategy, follow through
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Developing proposal responses
- Developing goals for growth and ensuring they are met
- Team management, training personnel, and helping team members develop their skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or practical experience in business, marketing, or architecture
- Minimum 7 years experience in a professional setting
- Creative thinking + self direction
- Understanding of and passion for mission-driven work
- Understanding of and passion for working in an entrepreneurial start-up environment
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
We follow a hybrid work model: in-person at our Washington, DC office from Monday to Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
