Position Overview:
As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in expanding their market presence, cultivating strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will develop and implement strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities, foster partnerships, and strengthen our position as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within key markets, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development, presentations, and negotiations to secure new projects and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of business development efforts with project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and build connections.
- Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role within the design-build or construction industry.
- Strong network of industry contacts, including developers, architects, and consultants.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Familiarity with design-build processes and the ability to translate client needs into actionable strategies.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for building relationships and achieving growth.
