Job Details
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead assessment, development, and evaluation of care in assigned areas
- Supervise Unit Coordinators and clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
- Manage staff meetings and communications
- Oversee financial performance and staffing levels
- Conduct needs assessments and coordinate staff education
- Analyze data to implement quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Review and revise policies, procedures, and protocols
- Represent the hospital in committees and external functions
- Integrate evidence-based practices in care delivery
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients, employees, and organization
- Promote safety and use infection control principles
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in professional organizations and hospital activities
- Maintain professional growth and development
- Contribute to cost control through efficient use of resources
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or in progress
- Current Ohio nursing license
- AHA Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required
- Specialty certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, previous management experience preferred
