This is not a teleworking position. Duty site is 615 Discovery Drive, Huntsville, Al 35806.

Description:
The Administration Department of S 3 's Business Operations consists of Human Resources (HR), Benefits, Recruiting, Training Development, and IT Teams of an 800-person corporation supporting employees and contracts co-located with government customers at multiple locations, CONUS and OCONUS. The Director of Administration reports to the CEO and also manages the functions of the three subsidiaries: GLSS (Logistics Maintenance CBA, SCA), KBFS (Aviation Commercial), and S3I/S3A (OConus Aviation Services).
Responsibilities:
- The Director of Administration is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of each of the teams to ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 procedures in their execution and provide proper support to employees and management.
- The Director of Administration coordinates with other elements of business operations, develops solutions to meet the needs of the business units, updates policies and procedures to proactively support corporate growth for parent and subsidiary units, and supports routine audits by many federal agencies in accordance with their missions.
- In HR, the Director of Administration ensures HR operations: (a) are compliant with all required federal laws and regulations; (b) provide a competitive fringe package; and (c) provide HR services that meet the needs of the business units.
- For recruiting, the manager directs the recruitment process and the strategic plan to ensure the recruiting needs of the company are met not only today but into the future as the company continues to expand.
- For facilities, the Director of Administration provides leadership to sustain a work environment for employees that enables them to complete their respective jobs efficiently and effectively.
- For training development, the Director of Administration assists in the development of a training program that ensures all S3 and subsidiary employees stay compliant with the required performance requirements.
- The Director of Administration is responsible for the performance metrics of the department, reporting to audit requirements, both internal and external, planning to advance automation in processes, and completing utilization of the capabilities of the Admin modules of Deltek Costpoint.
- Reports to the VP of Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred.
- 10 years in management, 20 years total experience related to federal contractor administration.
