Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting and ensure its accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate budgeting processes and implement cost control measures.
- Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial consultants.
- Evaluate and manage investment strategies and financial risks.
- Collaborate with the executive team to make decisions on potential mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners such as investors, banks, and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- MBA and/or CPA preferd
- 7 or more years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success
- Extensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Strong understanding of data analysis, forecasting methods, and performance/operation metrics
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner
