About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll staff and the processing and accuracy of each.
- Review Payroll, Billing, and Accounts Payable for accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
- Oversee collections of delinquent accounts, and assist as necessary to maintain excellent cash flow.
- Assist with various monthly and annual accounting reports such as Financial Statements and preparation for monthly and annual State and Lender financial audits.
- Monthly budget and expense analysis, including variance report and working with responsible staff to address overages.
- Variety of duties related to financial management and performance, including trouble shooting and problem solving and identifying systems that require improvement of accuracy and efficiency.
Compliance
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid financial reporting requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on regulatory and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting, with experience and education in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
- SNF Administrative/Operations experience preferred
- Experience with PointClickCare preferred.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
