We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Permanent Director, Media Planning to join our fast-growing Marketing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape our media planning strategy. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in media planning, integrated media, pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare professional (HCP) marketing, and team management. This role requires a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Director, Media Planning, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and executing strategic media plans across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
2. Leading the media planning team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
3. Leveraging your expertise in pharmaceutical and HCP marketing to drive targeted campaigns that resonate with our audience and achieve business objectives.
4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with media vendors, negotiating contracts to ensure optimal value and performance.
5. Collaborating closely with other departments, including creative, digital, and sales, to ensure integrated, cohesive campaigns.
6. Continuously monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to optimize results.
7. Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging media opportunities, integrating these insights into our media planning strategy.
8. Providing mentorship and professional development opportunities for your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Director, Media Planning position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 8+ years of experience in media planning, with a focus on integrated media strategies.
2. Proven experience in pharmaceutical and HCP marketing, with a deep understanding of this unique audience and how to effectively reach and engage them.
3. Demonstrated success in leading and managing a team, with a focus on fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
4. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing optimal media contracts.
