The International Tax Director will manage a team of tax professionals, collaborate with external advisors, and work closely with finance, legal, and business units to support global tax initiatives.We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, New York City, or Palo Alto for our hybrid working model.Key Responsibilities:Support IP and tax structure planning to maximize tax efficiency Direct global tax compliance Direct international quarterly and year-end accounting for income taxes (ASC 740). Direct international tax provisions for foreign statutory financialsExecute the Company's global transfer pricing strategy and policy including monitoring controlled transactions, transfer prices and adjustmentsPrepare and maintain intercompany agreements and allocationsReview the tax components of certain customer agreementsReview business initiatives to determine the tax impact Direct corporate international tax research and interpretationManage international tax audits Direct post-acquisition integrationsWork closely with Treasury in managing cash globallyCoordinate with outside tax consultants and contractors for various tax projects Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, MST or LLM (Taxation) preferred)Experience:10+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleStrong compliance and planning experience in a multi-national, multi-entity environment including the areas of: BEAT, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, OECD Pillar Two, Check the Box Principles, U.S.
Tax Treaty Research and Interpretation, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, and Transfer PricingWorking knowledge of international taxation in Europe and AsiaSkills:Understanding of SEC and GAAP reporting requirementsSignificant project management skills requiredAbility to navigate complex tax issues and provide strategic solutionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesTo drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone.

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location.
Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
