Director, Insurance Product Management - Selby Jennings

My client is seeking experienced and dynamic Directors of Product Management to join their team! These leadership positions are ideal for individuals with a deep understanding of either Massachusetts Auto Insurance or Homeowners Insurance (or similar large-state markets). The ideal candidates will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional management skills, and significant product management expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the product management strategy for Massachusetts Auto Insurance or Homeowners Insurance, ensuring strong market positioning and competitive advantage.
• Oversee the development and implementation of product offerings, including rate segmentation for both renewal and new business.
• Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through implementation, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, pricing, marketing, and claims to deliver product solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Manage and develop a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic oversight for state management, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and company goals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decision-making and product strategy.
• Lead pricing strategies and ensure optimal segmentation to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in product management, with a deep understanding of either Massachusetts Auto Insurance or Homeowners Insurance (or comparable large-state markets).
• Strong management skills, with experience leading and developing teams.
• Exceptional analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
• Expertise in product development, lifecycle management, and rate segmentation for both renewal and new business.
• Knowledge of state management and regulatory environments is highly preferred.
