Job Purpose
As theProcurement Director for MRO, CAPEX, and Utilities, you willbe responsible fordesigning, executing, and delivering a well-thought-out, strong MRO, CAPEX,andUtilitystrategiesthat meet business needs andobjectiveswhile driving effective and efficient value. You will be accountablefor measuring the performance of these strategiesand overcoming business challenges across the Kraft Heinz North American Zone (U.S. and Canada)while working collaboratively with the Global Procurement Leads. You will recruit, engage, develop, andretaina team of managerswho arethe future generation of Company leaders. In this role, you will interact and collaborate withsenior leaderswithin the business units, particularlythe SVP Supply, the CPO of the Zone and Global, Heads of finance in all business units, and other zone NALT.
EssentialFunctions &Responsibilities
Manage day-to-dayMRO, CAPEX, and Utilities Procurement team responsibilities, including developing and implementing sourcing strategy, negotiating contracts, performing make vs buy analysis, developing alternative sources of supply, and troubleshooting supply interruptions.
Manageteam onnegotiations of contractual agreements to ensure that they achieve business objectives, adhere to corporate standards, and financially deliver against our value commitments.
Deliver productivity savings and develop a continuous efficiency pipeline of savings to ensure future delivery of the strategic plan commitments related to the P&L and the balance sheet. Focus efforts and project identification on total cost of ownership (TCO), strategic sourcing strategy, and Capex of the future project (10YP).
Develop and handle annual budgets and monthly forecasts for cash flow, purchase price variance, and other financial metrics for t he assigned categories.
Lead rollout of new SRMand supplierperformanceprocess withstrategic relationships that can be used to garner competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Recruit, engage, develop, andretainimpactfulindividuals whocan bringthe organization to the next level. Mentor line managers to lead with empathy and creativity in developing the next generation of leaders.
Applyzero-basedbudgeting as a tool to improve operating efficiency.
Review,monitor,and enhance compliance and controls related to company policies and reporting.
Responsiblefor embeddingdiscipline and credibility in the financial governance process for theCAPEXIndirect Procurement supply base. Align with Finance and Operations counterparts on a consistentmethodologyto make decisions.
Foster mutually beneficial relationships with core preferred suppliers that are essential toimplementingKraftHeinz’sbusiness strategy, and actively develop the external supply base to create competition and provide sustainable sourcing solutions for current and future projects.
Collaborate withNAZand Global Procurement leaders toleverageknowledge and best practices. Foster strong working relationships with the commercial aspects of the business as well as leaders inOperations,Finance,and Procurement.
Oversee the key communication and all associated projects/initiatives/savings.
Expected Experience& Required Skills
A minimum bachelor’s degree isrequired, and MBA and/or advanced procurement qualifications arepreferred (CPM, CPIM, etc.).
Possess at least10to 15years of Procurement experience, with a minimum of 5 years of Indirect Procurement experience.
Strong Eye for business with the ability to understand and explain Procurement results and variances to non-Procurement audiences.
Results-oriented, adept at solving sophisticated challenges and dealing with ambiguity;anticipatesand adjusts for problems and obstacles in the team or the organization.
Excellentverbal and written communication skills; proventrack recordof building effective business relationships. Effective partner management skills,especially with senior leadership
Effective negotiator and influencer withdemonstratedexamples with internal customers and external suppliers/partners.
Strong strategic problem solverwho considers various perspectives andimpactsof issues and canproject them into the future.
Organizational Agility – knows how to get things done through formal and informal channels and is an effective delegator.
