Job Summary:
Directs and leads the delivery of imaging services across multiple modalities within Imaging. This is NOT a remote position. This position will require relocation to the St. Louis Metro area upon acceptance of an offer.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities
- Develops and leads the implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives for imaging services across assigned modalities.
- Develops departmental goals and standards consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system.
- Prepares departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds.
- Develops, implements, and monitors plan for patient care services in assigned department.
- Serves as a liaison between the service area and other department leaders.
- Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff.
- Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor's degree
Experience
- Seven years' experience, with five years' in direct people management/leadership
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.

- ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or
- Computed Tomography (CT) Credential - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) Certification and Registration - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
- Radiography (R) Certification and Registration - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Adult Echocardiography (AE) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Fetal Echocardiography (FE) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Abdomen (AB) Specialty - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or
