Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer is looking for a results-oriented Sr. Human Resources leader who possesses a solid skill set and experience. The person holding this key position must be an effective business partner with strong collaboration, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills who has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage multiple HR function and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The desired candidate will have a successful track record as a Director, Human Resources including strengths in compensation, recruiting, training, policies, compliance, employee relations as well as global HR related projects.
This position will be based out of headquarter office in San Jose, CA and will be interacting with all levels of management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures
- Help develop and deliver training programs that are key in supporting achievement of business strategies through individual and group development sessions
- Develop and participate in compensation/benefit surveys to analyze company's competitive position
- Reviews proposed salary adjustments to establish guidelines
- Ensure that employee relation issues, including the investigation and resolution of employee complaints, are managed effectively and efficiently
- Ensure that Super Micro's HR practices remains in compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations
- Serve as a day-to-day advisor and coach to managers and employees in all human resource areas
Qualifications:
- 15 years + HR experience including global project leadership
- 6 years + HR management role experience
- Experience in Hardware or Electronics Manufacturing companies preferred
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of Federal, State, and local employment laws
- Familiar with Radford compensation survey
- Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and flexibly
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasive, written/verbal communication, planning, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast pace and dynamic environment, able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- HR systems experience with ATS, ADP, and SuccessFactors a plus
- Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent education and/or experience. HR certification is a plus
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
Salary Range: $190,000 - $240,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
