Position Summary:ITT- Connect and Control Technologies (CCT) Value Center is searching for a Director of Human Resources to partner with the Control Technologies Team. This individual will be the primary strategic HR Business Partner for the Control Technologies Business Unit. The position has dual reporting into the CCT VP, HR and Global VP Control Technologies. This role could be in Orchard Park, NY or Valencia, CA.
Responsibilities include the development and tactical execution of HR Strategy in support of delivering business strategic plans and enterprise initiatives. Proactively consults with clients and recommends HR strategic solutions to improve critical business outcomes and acting as a change agent.
Essential Responsibilities:- As an integral thought partner to the CT Leadership Team develops the people strategy in support of the business strategy and overall enterprise initiatives
- Leverages OD expertise to shape the culture, drive organizational growth, team effectiveness, change management, organizational design, and leadership development
- Executes CCT Talent strategy to grow and develop the talent bench and pipeline
- Drives culture initiatives to embed ITT High Performing Culture and strong employee relations
- Partners with leaders to develop and drive career paths
- Drives DEI initiatives
- Leads and develops the CT HR Business Partners across various locations
- Partner with COEs to support enterprise people priorities and initiatives
- Advises and coaches managers on complex employee relations issues (e.g. discipline, coaching, performance management)
- Drives initiatives to drive employee engagement and reduce turnover
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 12+ years of relevant progressive experience in Human Resources
- 5+ years of people leadership
- Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, lead and transform
- Understanding of key business and financial drivers and demonstrated strong delivery of HR results
- Multi -functional experience working in a matrix environment, supporting multiple functional groups and working across multiple employee populations
- Proven influencing skills to drive results in a fast paced, matrix and complex environment
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to develop solutions to business and people issues; use data analytics for insights and to develop actions
- Experience working in HRIS platforms, and proficient in Power Point and Excel.
- Ability to travel 30%
