The Director of Email & CRM Marketing will lead, design, and build the strategy for the global ETS marketing automation and CRM systems. The primary function of the Director is to develop, execute, and manage the B2B email strategy; and will provide strategic guidance and technical support for independent brands within the ETS portfolio. The role requires collaboration with internal and external development and integration partners to develop integrated measurable email marketing campaigns and programs aligned to business priorities and marketing objectives. Success in the role requires a results-driven mindset. This role reports into the Executive Director of Brand and Channel Marketing and will oversee a team responsible for email marketing and automation execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee email marketing campaigns end-to-end, including planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting, and optimization.
- Work with Marketing and Customer Insights teams to define customer journeys, identify opportunities throughout the journeys and measure potential business value of those opportunities.
- Develop CRM roadmaps that integrate with brand and performance marketing to drive high-quality customer penetration, frequency, migration and spend.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to create and execute data-driven, dynamic email campaigns and deliver highly targeted/segmented marketing campaigns, lifecycle emails, retention/reactivation programs, and loyalty building communications.
- Deliver reporting and insight that accurately and appropriately measures the performance of email campaigns.
- Oversee the technical execution of various email campaigns, including the template designs, unsubscribe management, and automated journey and customer life cycle considerations.
- Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.
- Conduct analysis of results and develop test plans to continuously improve email performance, including optimizing emails for deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, etc.
- Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email.

Required Experience:
EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy
- Experience in Marketo required; Salesforce and ON24 a plus
- Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics
- Skilled at cultivating relationships with internal and external partners and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple collaborators and concurrent programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with or supporting programs that support sales and drive pipeline
- High level of organizational and project management skills
- Adept at multitasking under pressure, with the ability to prioritize and handle a variety of projects simultaneously
- Strong work ethic is a requirement
- Ability to take initiative in problem solving and decision-making
- Success with achieving goals and OKRs
