Title: Director, Edge Security Ops
The Purpose of this Role
The External Defense Perimeter is a dynamic team that ensures Fidelity external defenses are implemented to combat external attacks targeting Fidelity s applications stack.\u00A0 As the Perimeter Defense leader, you will oversight enterprise edge security mission, strategy, and execution for Industry leading solutions to protect Fidelity from external\u00A0threats. You will be responsible for developing external threat cyber security defense operations capabilities and align strategic priorities. The job involves performing techno-manager role in Edge Security Operations areas including Web Application Firewall, Email Security, IDS/IPS, cloud perimeter security, Cyber Incident Response, Change Management, etc. The role will establish and operate Edge Security operations capability by leveraging the incumbent operational functions.
Skills You Bring
- Strong experience as Edge security Operations leader for Web application firewall, Login Protection, eMail Security, network security, etc.
- Build capability of very strong perimeter security posture, Limit the external exposure and Protect the Business and client data from external attacks.\u00A0
- Strong Understanding of Edge Security operations processes (e.g. incident management, change management, SLA s etc.)
- Perimeter and cloud security Expert with an outstanding understanding of the latest practices and trends in edge security.
- Data Driven Approach to understand fraud data, prioritize detect and prevent.
- You will ensure that controls are applied consistent with corporate policy and support successful review by internal and external auditors.
- You will take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered.
- You have a strong focus on execution and identify, communicate, and remove impediments to progress.
- You are capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of building high-performing teams.
Your Day Would Look Like
People Manager and Stakeholder Management Skills (40%):
- You will Manage Senior subject matter expertise associates and align the Edge Security Ops functions with business priority.
- Engaging senior leaders with different professional and cultural backgrounds in functional merits of Enterprise IT, including articulating business benefits in very tangible ways. Recognized for your dedication, client focus and engaged behavior.
- Outstanding interpersonal and multi-tasking and skills to quickly gain trust and build up efficient relationships to collaborate with internal partners to drive design of global and regional initiatives/ programs forward.
- Manage diverse niche skilled Cyber Security Operations team \u00A0 Retain Talent, Performance appraisal and help in associates development. \u00A0Accountable for technical knowledge development/enhancement as well as soft skill development/enhancement for self and the team. Role will involve managing associates across globe. \u00A0
Technical (40%):
- Broad span of diverse outstanding skills to manage Web Application Firewall (WAF), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Advance Threat Protection (ATP), Cloud Security and Email Security operational functions.
- Expertise in Email Security, Email and Web Advance Threat Protection, DNS, DDoS and IDS/IPS. Analyzing email, DNS and DDoS attack patterns to improve protections. Expert in DMARC and outbound email enforcement.
- Firewall Rules review and network security posture assessment
- SME for Cyber defense - security protection, response, detection for security incidents and recovery of services.
- Ability to influence high impacting and complex security architecture decisions in high pressure situations.
- Responsible for Perimeter security products maturity, Architectural oversight and enable high business value.
- Profound knowledge of enterprise security architecture practices, strategies, processes, and methodologies
- Outstanding interpersonal and multi-tasking and responsible for taking very high complex perimeter security decisions.\u00A0
- Ability to decision during high pressure situations like Cyber incidents.
- Responsible for Perimeter security products maturity and high, enable high business value.
- Develop consistent and high-quality service roadmaps and architectures, ensuring strategy alignment and oversight of standards and guidelines. You will work closely with the technical domain architects and engineers to develop and agree the target state and transitional states.
- You have a deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture as well as solid partner management skills to drive consensus across multiple business divisions (you must be willing to challenge the status quo).\u00A0

KPI and Metrics (20%):
- Implement automated security metrics scorecard that enables executive leaders, line managers, and operational staff to spot and take action on security related incidents and reduce surface risks prior to implementation.
- Build actionable product maturity dashboard which aligns with strategic objectives.
