About the Job
Arch Systems is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Demand Generation to join our dynamic Marketing team. Reporting directly to the VP of Communications & Marketing, this role is pivotal in driving pipeline growth and amplifying Arch's solutions across the manufacturing sector. You will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing programs, influencing pipeline and bookings while managing a high-performing team.
What You Will Own & Drive
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a multi-quarter integrated demand generation strategy from ideation to implementation. Own the entire campaign lifecycle, including strategy development, content creation, messaging, channel management (email, distribution, organic and paid social, events, and SEO), tracking, and optimization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Strategic Partnerships to ensure alignment and maximize campaign ROI, with pipeline growth as the primary KPI.
- Lead Management: Define and implement best practices for lead management and follow-up. Develop persona-driven campaigns to effectively engage target audiences.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards, define campaign KPIs, and report on the demand generation funnel. Partner with the VP of Marketing to manage the lead pipeline, ensuring visibility, continuous improvement, and clear linkage between marketing efforts and results.
- Manage & Mentor Team Members: Lead and develop a high-performing demand generation team, including direct management of campaign marketers and potentially a BDR/SDR team.
- Optimize Campaign Impact: Regularly analyze campaign performance, share insights with stakeholders, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Scale & Quality: Ensure a high standard of quality in lead generation efforts, prioritizing impactful campaigns that resonate with key B2B industrial SaaS personas over sheer volume.
What You Bring to The Table
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven demand generation experience in B2B SaaS marketing targeting enterprise stakeholders at multiple levels.
- HubSpot Expertise: Proficiency in HubSpot, with the ability to serve as platform administrator, managing configuration and access.
- Technical Tools Proficiency: Experience with tools like HubSpot, Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Asana, GA4, AdWords, and Microsoft Office.
- Campaign Lifecycle Mastery: Demonstrated ability to own the entire campaign process, from concept to execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Pipeline & Reporting Ownership: Proven experience managing lead pipeline metrics, with expertise in creating and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools.
- Management Experience: Proven experience managing a full-time team, driving omnichannel demand generation strategies, and overseeing budgets and timelines to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and align with organizational goals.
- ABM & Demand Generation Best Practices: Strong knowledge of persona-driven Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, with a focus on targeting high-value accounts to enhance sales pipeline quality.
- Communication Skills: Skilled in translating complex information into clear, impactful visuals and messages that engage customers and stakeholders effectively.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing markets is a plus.
- Experience overseeing BDR/SDR teams is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with intent data platforms such as RollWorks, DemandBase, ZoomInfo, as well as SEO/SEM expertise, is highly desirable.
