Overview:The Director, CRM Strategy reports to the Artex COO and is responsible for representing the Artex business in the development and launch of ongoing enhancements to our Salesforce CRM platform. In this role you will champion for the needs of the Global Artex business.
As the principal lead for the Salesforce CRM platform across Artex, you will ensure it meets all divisional needs for managing the sales pipeline and client relationship throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Additionally, you will lead the migration of any Salesforce instances inherited through acquisition to the Artex platform, including creating and executing a holistic plan across multiple teams.
To achieve results, you will work closely with the Artex Sales, Business Development and Client Relationship teams to define and continually improve the global CRM processes. This collaboration is in partnership with the Global Gallagher Sales Operations and CRM team. You will also join forces with the broader Corporate IT shared services group to execute Salesforce development. Furthermore, you will work with the CRM Communication and Training teams to reinforce the use and adoption of the CRM platform to maximize the value across the business.
This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and the individual can sit anywhere in the US.
- Act as a liaison between Artex and Salesforce product, development, training, and support teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Partner with the global corporate technical development and training team to drive the roadmap and prioritize initiatives that will have a significant impact on selling at Artex.
- Collaborate across business and technical teams to make meaningful Salesforce enhancements to deliver value to the Artex Producers, Sales Leads and Client Relationship Managers
- Lead the integration of acquisitions onto the Salesforce Artex platform
- Collaborate across Specialty and GGB-Americas to drive consistent, CRM related processes
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes, document user stories in DevOps, participate in scrum meetings, collaborate on solution design and participate in user acceptance testing.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and organizational skills in leading within a highly matrixed and fast-paced work environment.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce from an end-to-end perspective and the ability to develop solutions to address business problems.
- Assess risks associated with deployment plans and ensure appropriate communication, escalation, and mitigation steps are in place.
- Clearly communicate with business representatives through strong written and verbal channels, including the ability to influence and drive adoption.
- Approach teamwork with a positive, entrepreneurial, collaborative 'can do' attitude, with a desire to make a positive impact.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud business analysis or development in the effort to support core sales business processes.
- 3+ years of experience in agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience delivering results utilizing matrixed resources.
- Excellent written and oral communications with ability to work effectively and provide feedback to senior level leaders and vendors.
- Financial industry or insurance experience
- Knowledge of ITIL, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, SOC2
- Strong applications analysis and issue resolution (troubleshooting) skills
- Strong user and client relationship management skills and passion for customer service
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to excel in fast paced, high demand environment.
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
- Proven ability to independently manage tasks and priorities, accurately estimate work and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to quality and excellent customer service to end users.
