The individual will be responsible for the development and integration of processes and systems to support new technologies and programs in our Advanced Therapies portfolio, with a focus on cell therapy. This individual will incorporate these new technologies & processes into Clinical Supply Chain to stabilize our operations as programs mature as well as scale for the future to support our portfolio. Specific to cell therapy, this role will collaborate closely not only within Clinical Supply Chain but also with Global Development, Advanced Therapies Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to use our core procedures and expertise but also develop fit-for-purpose processes where required.

Key Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Define and develop processes and system capabilities (Lentivirus, Drug Product, Chain of Custody, Logistics, Release) to support the delivery of new assets in the Advanced Therapies space as well as ensure scalability to large phase III trials and commercial launch.
• Work with partners to proactively identify challenges and define mitigations that could impact the development timelines and launch while ensuring best in class experience for clinical sites and patients.
• Key business partner to develop a global end to end supply chain solution from development to commercialization. Develop fit-for-purpose systems and processes in close coordination with various teams and partners to ensure successful scalability to support patients globally
• Create strategic roadmap for clinical supply chain cell therapy including capacity management, system implementation, and governance process
• Define Chain of Custody/Chain of Identity strategy with Systems team and JSC while maintaining existing manual process during development phase of programs
• External benchmarking across pharmaceutical industry to drive efficiency with cell therapy supply chain
• Member of Clinical Supply Operations, Oncology Leadership Team
• Leading and/or supporting cross-functional and cross-departmental initiatives to improve business process/tools
• Leading and developing a team as well as implementing department and functional strategy

Education

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; A Master's degree or MBA is strongly preferred.

Required

• A minimum of 10 years of proven success and leadership in pharmaceutical, clinical development, or global supply chain management is required.
• Strong influencing skills, with the ability to understand issues from multiple viewpoints is required.
• Demonstrated leadership of a cross-cultural and cross-functional team, with or without direct authority is required.
• A solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain and methods of driving continuous improvement is required
• Supply planning experience is required, preferably in a multi-echelon supply chain environment.

Preferred

• Experience with Supply Chain systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and strong presentation skills is strongly preferred.
• A self-starter that can work independently and handle inputs from diverse business partners and partners is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated successes of strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms is strongly preferred
• Experience with Cell Therapy is preferred.
• A demonstrated ability in managing a global customer base and / or network of partners is strongly preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 - $276,000 USD

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

• Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
• Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
