Capture/Business Development manager to help Maximus Federal Health scale its medical exam business across new agencies.
Capture Manager supporting Federal Health accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for capture, pursuit, and solutioning architecture for multiple lines of business.
- Provide strategic guidance to executives including solution shaping and strategy responses.
- Develop strong business relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to executives for decision making.
- Work to maintain a win/loss ratio.
• Develop capture strategy in collaboration with business development and operations leads. This includes communicating to team, writers, management, etc.
• Provide planning and capture activities, ideally, 9 months prior to RFP release
• Support immediate procurement needs, as appropriate and by exception, where opportunities align with the goals and objectives of the segment
• Provide insights and data to business development for the purpose of shaping the bid to a competitive advantage. This includes but is not limited to utilizing competitive analysis to influence requirements
• Design and deploy the win themes and mitigations which make up the sales themes of the bid
• Engage with pricing lead and provide input into a collective data-driven price to win analysis
• Engage with pricing and operations lead to determine the base operating costs to perform the scope of work
• Research through the FOIA process competitor strengths/weaknesses and know how they sell against us
• Coordinate the different inputs/ points of contact; works closely with proposal developers to ensure a compliant and top-quality proposal for delivery to the customer.
• Review and closely collaborate on teaming construction based on gaps and strengths to improve positioning for win.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 10 years relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferred field of study in Policy Analysis, Marketing or Communications
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience required
• Experience with Project Management
• Ability to work with shared resources, client deliverables and presentations
• Must have superior organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be an expert decision-maker with sound judgment.
• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a strong public speaker.
• Excellent analytical skills are essential.
• Must be a good delegator and a good multi-tasker.
• Must have strong negotiating skills.
• Must have exceptional computer skills.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
