About the Job
The Opportunity:
In this role you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of forecasting models and analytics strategies to support business development initiatives, commercial revenue forecasts, and representing the function within the commercial due diligence team. You will own the development and management of commercial revenue forecasts in accordance with CSLB I&A forecasting SoPs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business stakeholders.
The Role:
Lead the development of robust forecasting models and analytics to support business development activities, including market assessments, product valuations, and competitive analysis.
Represent the forecasting and analytics function within the commercial due diligence team, providing critical insights and analysis to support strategic decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into strategic planning, commercial strategies, and decision-making processes.
Oversee the analysis of market trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks for business growth.
Provide leadership in the evaluation of potential partnerships, licensing agreements, and M&A opportunities by delivering data-driven insights.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in forecasting and analytics methodologies within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific required, preferably in business, finance, analytics, economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree in analytics/statistics preferred
10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry working across multiple therapeutic areas
Experienced in multiple forecasting & BI tools including Flexicast, Analog planner, @Risk, or any Monte Carlo simulation tool, Tableau, QlikSense etc.
Experience of working with multiple Epi, Sales and patient datasets such as Datamonitor, Evaluate, Globaldata, IQVIA, Symphony, ADIVO, GERS, UNOS etc.
Experience working with Rx, patient claims, pricing (WAC) and managed markets data sources (e.g. IQVIA, SHS, MMIT, Komodo, Clarivate, IPD Analytics)
Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with organization leaders and key external stakeholders
